“She believed she could…
So she did.”
—R.S. Grey
Sabrina’s mother and father were singers though, not as a profession, they were well trained. Her father grew up in Vaudeville near Liberty, MO and became quite the character—funny, dance instructor turned Chiropractor, vocally talented and optimistic with a knack for spinning hilarious stories. He would have friends and audiences pulled into a story about something that seemed to be so true and then, BAM!—the zinger leaving those listening in laughter. Her mother passed her time as an oil painter. She was always too modest and shy to exhibit her works.
Sabrina became fascinated with the family’s 35mm Pentax film camera and began to capture memories. She would soon find out she had an eye for distance, proportion, color and light and began to turn her work into art. At a young age, she busied herself with art classes in and out of school in the mediums of oil painting, pencil, pastels, ceramics and pottery. She became a paid artist at age 16.
She began singing jazz standards for the local senior citizens when she was 12 and continued with classic rock bands later in her teens. Through the years she’s been with different bands from jazz to classic rock and country. She has performed at wine bistros, restaurants, La Fete De Musique in Lagune Beach and has been feautred at the House of Blues, Anaheim. After much prompting from friends and a few already in the industry, Sabrina stepped into stand up comedy in 2017. She’s had the honor of performing at the Irvine Improv, Brea Improv, LA Comedy Store and more.
Her optimism and passion for life, art, people, and living full out is her claim to deep, inner happiness.
